Westwing was keen to add another integrator to run alongside their current partner.

What was the problem that Westwing encountered?

The question we asked ourselves was: How can we be less reliant on our existing partner and how can we be faster when onboarding new carriers?

What key elements did Westwing look for?

The main focus points for us during this tender were: Performance, Flexibility and Speed with onboarding new carriers.

MyParcel.com came out on top and our contract did not have any minimum volume guarantees, so we could try out the relatively new solution without any risks.

What does the cooperation look like?

We started 2,5 years ago with replicating one of the integrations that we also had with our other integrator: Hermes in Germany. For us it was a good test to measure performance and try out the partnership. They have exceeded our expectations and we have now expanded our partnership to over 11 carriers spread out over several countries. We will continue to expand with MyParcel.com. MyParcel.com gives our warehouses more stability and allows us to integrate carriers a lot faster than with our other partner.

After the pick and pack process in our warehouse we request the shipping label at MyParcel.com side. The longer this takes the less shipments we can process. It's therefore crucial to have the shipping labels as soon as possible. Every millisecond counts. MyParcel.com meets all of our requirements.
