18+ age check from PostNL.
With the age check 18+ shipping option, the PostNL deliverer checks with proof of identification that the person the shipment is handed over to is 18 years of age or older. This way, the legal age requirements for products with a minimum age, such as alcohol and tobacco, are met. For the age check 18+, more than one person can take delivery of the shipment.

For the 18+ age check, you pay a surcharge on top of the standard rate for your parcel shipment.
Setting up 18+ age check.
Create a new parcel shipment in the back office.
Enter the recipient’s address details.
Under Shipping options, select 18+ age check.
Save the shipment, download the shipping label, print it out and stick it onto the shipment.
Deliver your parcel to a PostNL location or have it collected by the Collection Service.
